MTES Family Sponsorship
Your donations will help fund teacher grants, classroom equipment needs (like tablets), classroom party supplies and snacks, teacher appreciation gifts/supplies and so much more! The staff and students of Monon Trail Elementary are grateful for your support!
Registration for clubs begins at 8:00 P.M. on Thursday, August 29th. Clubs will meet 6 times during the fall session and dates are listed in the description. All clubs begin at 2:30pm and end at 3:30pm. Space is limited and many clubs fill up within a few hours! One scholarship per club is available and funded by PTO.
Sign Language Club with Mrs. Hoaglan on Mondays
Come learn some basic signs! We will learn and explore basic sign language and discuss when, where and why we might use it. (1st - 4th)
Dates include: Sept. 16, 23, 30 Oct. 7, 21, 28
FLY! Paper Airplane Club on Tuesdays (PTO/Parent Lead - Mrs. Faulkenberg)
Calling all paper airplane experts! Each week kids will learn a different airplane design. Exciting games and competitions will prove just how fast, far, long, and accurate their airplanes can fly. (1st - 4th Grade)
Dates include: Sept. 17, 24, Oct. 1, 8, 22, 29
Jr. Art Club with Mrs. Macy on Wednesdays
We will create artworks using materials that are different from what is open during regular studios.(K - 2nd Grade)
Dates include: Sept. 18, 25 Oct. 2, 9, 23, 30
Lego Club with Mrs. Boxler on Wednesdays
Students will work in groups to complete a different build or challenge each week. (3rd - 4th Grade)
Dates include: Sept. 18, 25 Oct. 2, 9, 23, 30

Students will work in groups to complete a different build or challenge each week. (1st - 2nd)

Monon’s Family Fitness Day
Saturday, January 27, 2018 from 9-11:00AM
Join us for a morning of fitness, food, and fun!
Activity stations and healthy snacks provided by Northview Church, Riverview, Westfield Youth Sports, Westfield Jazzercise, Westfield Parks Department, the Monon Community Center, Darlington Snacks, Westfield Power Sports, and more! Great Door Prizes! Goodie bags will be given to all children that attend.

A safe “Trick or Treating” event for KIDS.
ADULTS, bring your decorated trunks/ vehicles and pass out Halloween candy or treats.
Vehicle pre-registration and $5.00 fee is required to participate. Each “trunk” must provide their own treats.
Please arrive in the MTES parking lot to set up before 5:45 PM. For the safety of the children, no cars will be allowed in the parking lot after 6:00 PM or allowed to leave until 8:00 PM.
Businesses are welcome to participate!
Food and drinks will be available for purchase.
